Platinum Health Group is working closely with the Queensland Government Department of Health to help protect our patients, visitors and staff from COVID-19. Our medical centres remains open and fully functional, with the appropriate safeguards in place to ensure your safety.

If you think you may have COVID-19:

 

Contact your medical centre and we will ask the following questions to triage you for an appointment:

  • Have you travelled overseas or interstate in the last month?

  • Have you had direct contact with any unwell person that has travelled overseas or interstate in the last 2 weeks?

  • Are you unwell?

  • Are you experiencing any of the following symptoms: Fever, Cough, Shortness of Breath, Sore Throat?

 

Your doctor may be able to assist you with a Telehealth Appointment either over the phone or via video link.

 

If you have serious symptoms such as difficulty breathing, call 000 for urgent medical help

 

If you have any of the following flu-like symptoms:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Sore Throat

  • Shortness of breath

  • Or loss of smell and/or taste

Or if you have had close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with or suspected of having COVID-19 in the 14 days before getting sick, return to your car and phone your medical centre.

Your safety and well being is very important to us and we need to work together to stop the spread of COVID-19

If you haven't had a Telehealth appointment before, here's how it works:

- You book an appointment, either online via www.platinumhg.com.au or over the phone
- Your GP will call you at the scheduled time
- You will discuss your symptoms
- Your GP will advise on the treatment and/or medication required, and next steps.

Easy!

(Please keep in mind your telehealth appointment will be bulk billed if you have been seen by your regular doctor or another doctor in our medical centre within the last 12 month)
